Quick Tomato Sauce
In this sauce; I utilize fresh garlic, tomato, herbs and lemon to bring it to life.

This is one of those sometimes.
I am a lover of spicy and tart and this sauce delivers both. Adding fresh elements to a quick recipe, adds vibrancy. In this sauce; I utilize fresh garlic, tomato, herbs and lemon to bring it to life.
My favorite way to eat this sauce is over brown rice spaghetti – with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and fresh cracked pepper. That’s it.
Petrice and I are extremely busy at the moment building our businesses and we rely on this sauce to get us through long nights at the computer. It’s become a part of our routine to have quick spaghetti.
This sauce is now the symbol of typing alongside my lover, helping each other meet deadlines and laying the foundation for our dreams.

Quick Tomato Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 can tomato paste
- 1 can tomato paste
- 6-7 garlic pods, chopped
- ½ tbsp chili flakes
- ½ tbsp chili flakes
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 ½ tsp dried chives * optional
- ½ tsp pepper
- 2 cups water
- ½ lemon, juiced
- fresh thyme, optional
- fresh rosemary, optional
Instructions
- Heat a skillet on low flame
- Add olive oil and warm
- Add garlic, saute for 1 minute
- Add chili flakes, lemon juice and saute for 1 minute
- Add tomatoes, saute for 2 minutes
- Add tomato paste, herbs, spices and water
- Increase heat to low-medium flame, stir to combine
- Cover and allow to cook for 10-15 minutes *
- Serve warm!
