Lime Miso Dressing
This dressing came to be while creating the Love Salad.
This dressing came to be while creating the Love Salad. I mentioned the salad was inspired by an epic restaurant in Los Angeles, called Love Organic. I had their Yuzu dressing and was moved to create a dressing that infused a strong citrus, ginger, miso and toasted element. I’ve been utilizing the same dressing for so long – so it’s pretty amazing to make another one that becomes a part of the weekly food flow.
Being that the miso is living, this dressing is much more than an added flavor. It’s vibrant! I have to restrain myself from taking a small spoonful of miso and eating is plain – it’s just so good.
This dressing is bold, tangy, rich and with those added toasted sesame seeds – packs a smoky bite. Drizzling on tops of salads, as a dipping for tofu skewers or as a marinade – this dressing can do it all. I hope you enjoy this dressing that now holds a special place in my heart.
