Easy Tofu Scramble

Ingredients

  • 10 oz tofu pressed broken into small pieces.
  • 1 tbsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp plant butter optional

Instructions

  • Heat a large skillet on low-medium flame
  • Add tofu, all spices and stir to combine
  • Stir for 5-6 minutes, until the tofu has released moisture and turned a golden color
  • Remove from heat and toss in plant butter (if you’re using)
  • Serve warm

Notes

Take your tofu block, wrap in a cloth, place on a dish and set a skillet on top - this will press out additional moisture, making the texture even better.
Plant butter is optional for this recipe. If you are using, I suggest Miyokos butter; as it’s palm oil free.
