It was one of the weekend treats my mom made me when we had little in the fridge but lots in the appetite. The combination of butter, cinnamon and sugar is most likely a universal YES. I mean, who doesn’t love this dynamic trio.
While no health food, it sure is a comforting treat.
I love to add this simple butter on top of jalapeno cornbread, morning toast, muffins, pancakes and waffles.
- 4 tbsp plant butter*
- 1-1.5 tsp maple syrup
- ¼ tsp cinnamon powder
- Add cold butter to a small bowl, stir in maple and cinnamon powder
